Hi, I’m Miranda (aka Mirry Maker), and I’m so glad you’re here!

I started sewing in late 2015, and barring a few pauses to explore other crafts, I’ve not looked back since. As well as being a sewing enthusiast, I’m also a workshop tutor at the The Knitting and Stitching Shows and The Stitch Festival. When I’m not sewing or crafting, I freelance as an SEO content writer. I have also written for Love Sewing Magazine and Your Home Magazine. So you could say Mirrymaker.com is permanent place for my love of sewing and writing to intertwine!

Most of what I have learned about sewing over the years has come from the web, and I know it’s the place where many of us start. With that in mind, I designed this site to be a welcoming space for sewing beginners. Here, you’ll find sewing basics, honest pattern reviews, and (I hope) plenty of inspiration from my handmade wardrobe.

For the last 5 years, I’ve been a brand ambassador for Minerva.com, so on this site you’ll see me showcase their fabric from time to time, with honest reviews about their products. Whether you’re interested in learning to sew or getting inspiration for DIY fashion, you’ll find some useful resources here to help you on your sewing journey.

I hope you feel inspired and empowered to start creating beautiful things.
